Every Sunday morning from 9:30 until 10:20 is our Sunday School time. This is a time of Bible study/fellowship for all ages. We have a class for you! Find the category that interests you below and please join us this Sunday.
ADULTS
Christian Companions Class - This is an adult class that focuses on a verse by verse study of the books of the Bible. We are currently studying 2 Timothy, one of the letters written to Timothy by the apostle Paul. All are welcome to join us anytime. Terry Welshan is the teacher for this class.
Willing Gleaners - We value intercessory prayer for a large number whom we list on the board each Lord's day. Our class is studying the book of Revelation with a view to being better informed about the unfolding of events before Jesus comes again. We are promised a blessing only if we read the book of Revelation (Rev 1:3). This class meets upstairs and is led by Harold Ray and Bob Bell.
Melting Pot - As the name suggests, the Melting Pot class ranges from younger adults to more experienced ones. In this group you can find support for living the Christian life day to day. Through discussion of biblical books and topical themes, the Melting Pot is a place to come and discover how God's Word impacts everyday life. The leader for the Melting Pot class is Terry Ray.
The Bridge - This class is made up of younger adults. The 18 and older/20-something crowd is who we are but we are not limited to this demographic. We are seeking answers from God's Word about how we walk with Christ through college, starting a family, our jobs or wherever He leads. As the Bible enlarges our view of God, His plan and His desire for our lives, we seek to surrender more to Him. We desire to help each other and challenge one another in this journey. The Bridge meets downstairs and is led by Greg Pitner and Jonathan Dean.
YOUTH
Tenderfoots -
This class is designed for two and three year old children. The kids learn Bible stories through lessons, crafts and play time together. The Bible stories the students learn are laying a foundation for faith and building social interaction skills.
4 Year Old to Kindergarten -
From the Old to the New Testament these little ones are beginning to see and understand the story of Jesus. The learning is supported through hands-on crafts and activities. The children are encouraged to take home activities that offer parents the opportunity to support their spiritual growth.
Early Elementary -
1st and 2nd Graders are welcome to join this class as we learn Old and New Testament Bible Stories each week. This class also makes age-appropriate crafts, sings songs, and act out the Bible stories. Join Mrs. Phyllis for this fun, adventure-filled class!
3rd through 5th Graders -
Ms. Karen leads this group of devoted children who study the Bible and see that all of God's Word points to Jesus! We will study the Bible section by section and begin developing a deep understanding of God's Word. We will begin to know Jesus, love God, and live our faith in practical, tangible ways. Come and join us in our quest to know Jesus!
Middle School - This class studies different topics and issues in the Bible. We seek to discover how the Bible relates to our lives today. The class is taught by Maggie Ray and is held in the green room downstairs.
High School - This is a very laid-back class that meets downstairs. We might wake up slowly on Sunday mornings, but we are on fire for God! We enjoy discussion-style Bible studies and meeting new people. Visit with us soon!
